There are many options available to you at Fairmount. We’ll explore them together.
First of all, we take our commitment to you seriously. Your loved one never leaves our care, whether you choose burial or cremation. No matter what your preference, we recommend all families remember their loved one in some way.
A memorial ceremony gives family and friends the opportunity to say goodbye, to pay their respects and to support the living. While every ceremony is unique, the underlying importance of the event remains the same—to set the stage for the healing process. We can help you navigate through a traditional service, a celebration of life or a simple, dignified cremation. Rest assured that Fairmount personnel value all faiths and beliefs, and treat every family with the utmost care and compassion.
At Fairmount, your family’s monument or marker will be relevant to the life it honors. A Fairmount representative will partner with you to design the perfect memorial to pay tribute to your loved one. Our craftsmen pride themselves on creating lasting works that mirror your wishes.
Every passing is personal. We know you have many decisions to make, and we promise to help guide you with compassion and an open heart.
Caskets & Alternative Containers
Fairmount team members have personally selected all of our caskets and alternative containers. Each one meets our high standards of quality. With a range of options, we’ll do our best to help you find the one that fits your needs and expectations. Choose from containers made of wood, metal and precious metals. If you are looking for a specific type of casket or manufacturer’s model, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
Burial & Cremation Vaults
Designed to protect the casket, burial vaults are commonly required by a cemetery to ensure proper grounds maintenance. While most are made of concrete, many families choose decorative or personalized vaults.
Similarly, cremation vaults protect the urn when it’s interred in the ground. The vault is usually made of concrete, and may feature plastic linings, decorative elements, tongue-and-groove seals and metal reinforcements.
With a growing number of families choosing cremation, Fairmount prides itself in offering a variety of urns crafted in wood, marble, ceramic, bronze and other new materials. In addition to an urn for the remains, many families also select an additional keepsake urn or cremation jewelry.
